The Playground Centre and Urban Effects were the proud field sponsors for the NZILA Conference held in Gisborne recently.
Representatives from the two New Zealand companies joined conference participants on the field trips which focused on creating places with a difference. Among many things, attendees considered how cultural history and the modern day identity of regional towns could be combined in a memorable landscape design.
A company spokesperson said the field trips were an ideal fit for the two companies who work with architects every day to create bespoke and unique landscapes.
“We enjoy nurturing healthy minds and bodies of all ages through outdoor play and fitness, and being ‘refreshingly different’ in the choice of street and park furniture,” he said.
“As an official sponsor of NZILA, we look forward to continuing to work with members to create unique outdoor spaces whether it’s in school or local government playground, rest area, nature reserve or urban streetscape.”
