A new school in the Christchurch suburb of Halswell, the Knights Stream School wanted a playground to match its vision – to create courageous learners who positively influence the world. And that’s exactly what they got!
The school’s playground fully embraces all of the principles of best practice inclusive playground design to provide a safe environment where children of all ages, abilities and backgrounds can be brave, creative and curious, and can also learn, grow and connect through play.
Fun Solution
With its circuit-style play equipment in eye-catching custom colours, including the striking blue and green of the Knights Stream School shield, the playground provides a variety of fun, exciting challenges for junior and senior students alike.
At its heart is a multi-tier, multi-dimensional climbing structure designed for maximum interaction, engagement and enjoyment.
While an inclusive basket swing and a custom-built, mounded play zone with tunnels and slides and its own climbing tower, make playtime an adventure for everyone.
