Play Priorities
BLENNZ (The Blind & Low Vision Education Network NZ) is a national network of educational services for children and young people who are blind, deafblind or have low vision. The BLENNZ Homai Campus needed to revitalise its play and outdoor learning area to create an all-accessible space that was fun, engaging and easy to use for all students.
Fun Solution
Playground Centre was privileged to work with BLENNZ and Jill Rice of Get Outside Ltd to help design, make and supply innovative equipment for this special area. A clever use of colour – along with customised equipment, features and fittings – ensured the play space was perfectly suited to student needs.
Offering adventures for everyone, BLENNZ’s new playground was created using existing Playground Centre products as well as solutions tailored especially for the school’s students and caregivers. All products were carefully chosen for both fun and real functionality to match specific requirements and considerations.
