Reaching new heights of fun and health
Hutt Intermediate School encourages its students to strive for great heights of achievement whatever their area of interest. It’s a commitment they’ve demonstrated literally when it comes to fun and fitness, thanks to their new playground.
Design + Climb
It was a pleasure to work with Hutt Intermediate School to find the perfect fun and active solution to foster physical literacy, health and fitness amongst its school population of 11-13 year old students. Climbing was a particular focus for the school, which made our Xtreme range the perfect fit!
Solution
The Xtreme range takes fitness to new heights, with its higher climbing walls, longer activities and mix of fixed and flexible challenges.
Hutt Intermediate School installed two of the three available stages of Xtreme Fitness 555 – Timber, which is designed to increase co-ordination, flexibility and agility in children aged 11 years and older.
That’s more than 265sqm of challenges, including two commando nets, monkey bars, chin up bars, oval ladder fitness station, tangle tightrope, climbing wall, cave bridge fitness station, spider web fitness station, and the cliff hanger fitness station.
