Thousands of visitors from around the world flock to Macau each year and Melco Resorts & Entertainment Limited has created the ultimate destination to stay (and play) for families with children of all ages.
The bespoke Enchanted Tree House, designed and crafted by Playground Centre, is the feature of the Forest Zone in Melco’s Studio City resort’s four-level Super Fun Zone, heralded as the most unique playground in Macau.
Collaboration
Working in close collaboration with the Melco team, our playground design and production specialists conjured up the Enchanted Tree House concept to match the vision for a forest-themed indoor play space with a supreme wow factor for children aged three and above. All components for the massive play structure were manufactured and delivered to site for installation under the expert guidance and support of the Playground Centre team. From start to finish, all facets of the project were managed to meet and exceed Melco’s expectations of a premium quality product and customer service experience.
Solution
The Enchanted Tree House is a spectacular, wonder-filled, fairytale-esque play space offering a myriad of play possibilities.
Made up of three large whimsically shaped tree houses constructed from Wobbly Wood timber connected by rope bridges, the play space entices children to explore every nook and cranny. At every turn, there is something to capture the imagination or thrill the senses. From the finishing touches that make the structures unique like the brightly coloured, crooked rooftops, windows and birdhouses to the stairways and slides that lead young playmakers to the next part of their adventure.
Three custom-made tube slides launch from a variety of heights throughout the Forest play zone, while the three spacious tree houses accommodate multiple children and their parents at once to provide safe playtime supervision. And of course, there’s no shortage of things for busy little people to see, touch and do, including make music! Innovative, specially designed musical instruments including chimes and drums are located throughout the play space.
