Remarkables Park is a dynamic urban environment designed for the popular international and national tourist destination, Queenstown.
In this collaboration with Creation Green, an iconic custom-carved Tuatara is the centrepiece of a vibrant, robust new playground catering to the littlest visitors to Remarkables Park Town Centre.
Complementing the area’s many green spaces, the result is a bright, fun place for parents to relax with a coffee or ice-cream, children to burn off some energy – and a great photo opportunity with the larger-than-life native dinosaur-like reptile!
Fun Solution
The larger-than-life Tuatara, carved from timber like our Wobbly Wood Rockers and custom-made in New Zealand, is the perfect focal point for this new playground.
The vibrant and robust playground was designed in timber and steel to withstand the extreme weather conditions of Queenstown.
Children can explore the wonky Stilts House, complete with Hercules rope climbing net and stainless steel slide, before taking a spin on the Whirlpool Family Carousel. Toddlers and older children alike can reach for the sky on our popular, vandal resistant two-bay Deluxe Swing, complete with toddler seat.
