Play Priorities

Full-on fun for the whole family. That was the City of Newcastle’s vision for its new playground in the harbourside suburb of Stockton.

We helped them achieve it, working with them to create a play space that’s filled with play equipment that’s as vibrant as its location and perfectly suited to the active, healthy lifestyle the Council promotes.

Fun Solution

One of the secrets to designing a family-favourite playground is ensuring there’s a variety of play options that cater for children of all ages and stages; and plenty of opportunities for children and their parents or carers to play together.

The Stockton Active Hub features a wide array of equipment for children – from toddlers to teens – to choose from, including one of our innovative Sand Play Module 220 and the delightfully different Dancing Snake Rocking Swing.

Active toddlers and younger, primary school-aged children are immediately drawn to the Sandplay Module where they can literally play for hours, completely immersed in imaginative play scenarios. While the Dancing Snake Rocking Swing is an absolute hit with kids big and small. Built to accommodate a number of users at once, the Dancing Snake’s unique rope swing structure allows movement in a range of directions. Kids can simply sit and swing backwards and forwards, or work together to make the whole structure rotate.
